This web site is designed to aid in the acquisition of Korean vocabulary and grammar. This site is for foreigners who are studying the Korean language. Anyone can create an account and comment or edit vocabulary words and grammar points on the site. Through tagging, it can be used to supplement any book or course. For example, if a grammar point occurs in Yonsei KLI's third book, it can be marked yonsei-3. Users can easily mark and find supplemental information regarding their books or courses. Check out the 단어 section.

By no means do you need to memorize the characters themselves. 60% of Korean words are derived from Chinese and the characters are almost always pronounced the same way in every Korean word that they appear in, so knowing the sound should be enough to guess the meaning of words that you have never heard. As an aid, when viewing vocabulary that contains Hanja, the characters' definitions are displayed.
